Classic TV Theme: Angie

From the people who brought you Happy Days, Mork and Mindy, and many other hits, 'Angie' started out well, but the two lead characters married in the second season and somehow audiences lost interest. One thing the show did have was a classy theme song. 'Different Worlds' by Norman Gimbel and Charles Fox was well produced: Maureen McGovern sung, with backup singers, orchestral accompaniment...the works. It went right to the top of the adult contemporary charts. The theme didn't change over the two seasons, but the visuals did so you'll see two opens and one set of closing credits.
